Her therapy subspecialties include borderline personality disorder (BPD), love addiction and dissociative identity disorder. Most often these complex traumas are linked with physical ailments; therefore she also counsels individuals with autoimmune and psychosomatic conditions such as (Irritable Bowel Syndrome, eczema, endometriosis, candida overgrowth, leaky gut syndrome, Parkinson's disease and more recently she has branched into holistic cancer therapy. She teaches others how to heal stressful and toxic relationship patterns, compulsive caretaking and control patterns that create stress within the body. Working through emotion regulation, shadow work, radical acceptance and surrender can lead to personal and relational transformation.
Tracey’s educational background is in a Masters of Nursing where she specialized in mental health and therapeutic communication. Her additional certifications and training are in Applied Mindfulness, Gestalt methodology, Yoga and Therapeutic Touch. Her additional skills and knowledge are in body-trauma psychology, breath work, bioenergetics, emotional anatomy/psychology and the letting go technique. Though her training has served her well, it is her lived experience and client experience and relationship evolution that have informed her practice the most.
Since 2011, she has developed herself as a soul-oriented and spiritually-centred nurse inspired by hospice palliative care. Now she helps clients in the capacity of a holistic and complex trauma-informed psychotherapist in her private practice. Her mission is to bridge the gap between western and eastern medicine, awakening others to their truth and power to heal themselves. The mind and body are not separate, and our hearts are the centre of who we are.
