Simon Day is a UK award-winning professional speaker, executive presentation coach and founder of Kingfishers Consulting. With over twelve years in educational leadership and extensive experience working with corporate professionals, graduates, and leaders, Simon brings a rare combination of academic rigour and real-world insight to his practice.

He holds Grade 8 Speaking in Public with Distinction from LAMDA, an MA in Creative Writing and is a Professional Member of the Professional Speaking Association, serving as Yorkshire Region President (2026–27) and won Yorkshire's PSA Member of the Year in 2025. Simon is a UK champion-level speaker with Toastmasters International and has appeared as a guest on multiple podcasts as well as BBC Radio 4.

Simon's own journey, from crippling communication anxiety to award-winning speaker, means he doesn't just teach these skills; he has lived them. His coaching is grounded in helping others speak and lead with clarity, courage, and presence.
