Roy V. Sillitoe, Ph.D., is Professor and Chao Family Endowed Chair at Baylor College of Medicine and Director of the Cerebellum Science Center at Texas Children’s Hospital. As a leading neuroscientist with over 120 publications and NIH-funded research, he specializes in cerebellar circuitry, movement disorders, and innovative therapies such as deep brain stimulation. His expertise draws from international training across Canada, England, and the USA, including Simon Fraser University, University of Calgary, University of Oxford, New York University, and Sloan-Kettering Institute. With a foundation in kinesiology and exercise physiology plus advanced research in developmental biology, neuroanatomy, biochemistry, molecular genetics, and electrophysiology, Dr. Sillitoe combines rigorous science with a passion for education. He has served on multiple scientific advisory boards and is the founding Editor-in-Chief of a peer-reviewed journal.
