Monica is a professional vocalist, singing tutor and songwriter.
Having lived in London for over 10 years, Monica was a regular performer in the London gig scene performing solos at the Royal Albert Hall, Bush Hall and other prestigious London venues. As a vocalist, her highlights to date include being an integral part of the Hillsong London team for over 6 years. She provided backing vocals for guest CCM artists such as Darlene Zschech. Being part of gospel choirs such as the Arc Gospel Choir where she was a support act for Stevie Wonder and the official X Factor choir where they performed with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, are also some of her highlights of her time in London. Part of her repertoire also includes recording backing vocals for Grammy winning songwriter, Albert Hammond, for his album, 'Legendas'.
As a songwriter, Monica’s songs and vocals have been featured in worldwide TV series, films and adverts (Neighbours, Nickelodeon and others). She collaborates regularly with professional international songwriters and producers who have written songs for artists such as Celine Dion, Avalon, Zayn and Martin Garrix. She currently is also on the roster of well established EDM Publishing company, Vocal Kitchen, based in the Netherlands which provides professional vocals and toplines for DJs and artists.
With a diploma in Vocals from Vocal Tech London (now known as BIMM London) and a certificate in vocal coaching from BAST UK, Monica specialises in contemporary vocals and songwriting. She now resides in her country, Gibraltar, where she has been a singing coach at the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts for over 8 years.
