Jomar M. Rodriguez is a licensed Registered Nurse and seasoned Clinical Educator at St. Luke’s Medical Center, one of the Philippines’ leading tertiary healthcare institutions. With a solid foundation in critical care nursing, Jomar brings over a decade of experience in clinical education, workforce competency development, and multidisciplinary training across various specialties.
He holds certifications as an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS). He also holds credentials as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), a Certified Learning and Development Professional (CLDP®), and is certified in Simulation-Based Healthcare Education from the National University of Singapore—reflecting his commitment to innovative and experiential learning strategies. He has spearheaded multiple in-house clinical programs designed to elevate patient safety standards and improve hospital readiness, including the co-development of St. Luke’s Central Sterile Training Program and biosafety training for SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics.
Jomar is also a contributing researcher, having co-authored a study on the effects of lavender aromatherapy on postpartum pain and blood pressure, presented at the 23rd International Nursing Research Congress in Brisbane, Australia.
