About me
My name is Catherine Chege and I am delighted to welcome you to this course. I hold an MA in Biblical Theology with a New Testament option and have seven years of experience teaching Biblical Greek and theology at university level, currently at Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition, I also teach the Kikuyu language, helping learners connect more deeply with Kenyan culture, communication, and identity through language learning.
My passion for Greek grew out of a deep desire to understand the New Testament — the Testament that carries God’s living covenant with us today. Reading it in the original Greek opened Scripture to me in a way I had never experienced before, and that encounter transformed the way I study and teach God’s Word. Similarly, teaching Kikuyu has deepened my appreciation for how language carries meaning, worldview, and heritage.
Whether you are exploring ancient biblical texts or learning Kikuyu for personal or cultural growth, my goal is to guide you step by step with clarity, depth, and encouragement.
I look forward to walking with you through the foundations of Biblical Greek and/ or Kikuyu language learning, one step at a time.
