Barbara is a permaculture teacher and long-time volunteer host who lives and works on the land. Dirty nails, bare feet, clear thinking, and an abundant table of food to share. For almost 20 years years she has been designing and stewarding regenerative places, while welcoming hundreds of volunteers from around the world into real, lived permaculture. Some theory as well, but mainly a daily practice with all its beauty and learning.
Her teaching weaves practical skills with cultural awareness, growing food, building soil and designing systems, communication, cooperation, and care for people. Barbara has a sharp eye for patterns and a warm, lightly humorous way of naming what really matters.
Through her courses and mentoring, Barbara supports people to step into self-sufficiency, confident hosting, and a more compassionate, cooperative way of living.
