It's all in the details! These pocket appliques are cute but there's a trick to get the results you desire. Learn the secret in this step.
This is the first step in completing the fancy pants. When done correctly, you will ensure a durable seam and professional results.

Step 9 Creating pant ruffles
Yes, more ruffles! We will use the same technique to calculate and measure fabric requirements, but attaching them is slightly different.

Section 3: Project Two: Boutique Overalls
Materials list and notions required.
Finding overalls is easy, but some considerations should be taken to make your overalls fit your project.  
Stitch ripping is an essential part of "renewing" your overalls.  Here's a tried and true method and some safety tips too.  
Converting your overalls to a backless halter top "halterall". 
After removing the overall straps, we now make our own straps to act as as the halter all straps. 
Making a bib pattern that fits your overalls perfectly. 
Heat and bond is a useful tool, but it can also cause your frustration!  This step explains.
Machine setup and applique prep are discussed.  
Learn how to make professional looking appliqués. 
Ready to attach your appliqués, stitch width and length are discussed here. 
Finishing off the overall straps we removed with a casing.
Measuring and preparing the back ruffle.
