Quiz 4 covers items in section 4.
I'm a CPA and am a QuickBooks Advanced Certified ProAdvisor (Desktop and Online software versions). For nearly a 10 year period, I worked as an Accountant/Office Manager and had the pleasure of training co-workers and temporary staff in a variety of software packages including QuickBooks. I was able to create all sorts of systems and standard operating procedures. In many instances I created training tutorials; both print and video. I came to realize that I really enjoy teaching; sharing knowledge with others in the hope that they learn and use the valuable information.
As a result, my wife and I formed a company (Simplified Management Solutions, Inc.) where we create video tutorials for software packages in addition to providing accounting services. Our focus is high-quality training tutorials for QuickBooks, Snagit, and other business related software.
Other interests include: Spending time with my wife and 3 Vizslas (dogs), playing guitar/drums/bass, photography, and creating films/motion graphics.
Software I use includes (and isn't limited to): QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Camtasia, Snagit, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Audition, & Google Docs.
