Instructor Biography

Ms Marilyn Duke, Professional training in health and beauty therapy for over

I qualified in 1986 as a beauty therapist, with a fistful of diplomas and a growing passion for this remarkable industry. I discovered a joy in passing my information on to others, and assisting aspiring therapists to reach International standards of practice in this highly portable career. After running my own skin care clinic and teaching at a International school I opened my very own college in 1997. At this highly accredited school we have taught from the basic up to the specialized and advanced subjects. I absolutely love teaching advanced therapies, media makeup, sport massage and specialized skin care such as micro-current, IPL and micro-dermabrasion. As a lecturer working with third year students I get to keep up with the latest trends and developments in the market place. With the current move to make education more easily available, particularly for post graduate and advanced skills, I am converting the training to on line. Keeping the same high standard of training, with loads of learning checks and offering you the opportunity to benefit from my years of experience in this field. I currently hold over 15 International diplomas in the health and beauty field. These include Cidesco Beauty & Spa Therapy, Cibtac Aestheticienne, Electrolysis, Advanced Research, Sport Massage, Photographic and media makeup, teacher training, Stellnbosch Academy Masters & Basics. Camelot Teachers Diploma and more.
