After years of competition, a training injury ended my gymnastics career at the age of eighteen. I moved to Japan to study martial arts and earned several black belts in various arts until I badly dislocated my shoulder in a Judo tournament.
Over the course of several years, I rehabilitated myself practicing yoga and various forms of strength training.
Lately, I'm focused on teaching what I've learned about moving in a natural and healthy way that's also fun and builds strength, agility, and physical mastery.

I had been working on handstands for a while by myself and taking some classes. This course is very through and thoughtful. The gradual progression makes handstand approachable. I specially love the 'Frogger turnout' lesson. I have a problem bailing out from free handstand, either cartwheeling or rolling out. I fell flat on my back couple time and hurt myself. I practiced cartwheel, but somehow couldn't link with a handstand. I think the 'frogger turnout' will be give me confidence to practice freestanding handstand. Thank you very much!
