Section 1: Course Introduction and Overview

This is an introduction to the course and a brief overview of the course objectives. 


In this lecture, I will take you through the Udemy interface that will help you through navigating the course. I will outline how to use the Udemy Dashboard so you can easily make bookmarks in your course and also ask questions if you have too.

Section 2: Install Premium Theme

As part of this course, I want to ensure that you are setup on the right track to create your Amazon Affiliate website correctly therefore I am giving you FREE access to my course Discover how to build your first website. 

This is a 2.5 hour course that take you through all the basics of the website. 


Installing the theme that we will use to set up our Amazon affiliate Website.


In this lesson we would like to change the way that the products display in the menu bar. The default setting is not desired and we need to create a custom display setting. This lesson will focus on setting the custom address bar to display the “Category” and then the “Product”.

Section 3: Setup Amazon Affiliate Programme

It is required to sign up to the Amazon Affiliate site. Depending on the area that you will be selling in, you will be required to sign up that particular country. Follow the instruction in this lesson to setup your Amazon Associates programme. 


Tracking ID's are used on your site to link to your products. This will inform Amazon to start paying you a commission. Follow the steps to add a tracking ID. 

Section 4: Premium Plugin

Installing the CodeCanyon premium plugin will help with the webstore and we are able to link to our Amazon site through the premium plugin. In this lesson you will discover how to install this premium plugin and also activate it.


Once you installed the premium plugin you are prompted to install multiple plugins. In this lesson we will cover how to install multiple plugins all at once without the need to install and activate each individual plugin.


This is a short lesson looking at how to configure the Woozone plugin.


In this section it is required to add the Amazon secret keys information into WhooZone so that the store can link to your Amazon account.


This is an important step in the process to create a product category. In this lesson we will explore the categories that we wish to sell on our site.


In this lesson we will start adding products to the categories that we have created. We will discover how to load all the products that will be displayed on the site.


In this lesson we will cover how to maintain your products. We will look at:

  • Remove Product

  • Adjusting Product Images

  • Regenerate Images/Currency
Section 5: Customise the theme

In this lesson we will edit the site navigation to make it easier for our visitors to navigate through the site.


In this lesson we will be adding a logo to your and also update the Favicon.


In this lesson we will change the primary colours of our page by using a Colour Picker to get the exact hexon colour code for our site, based on our logo.


During the purchase of the theme we saw that the landing page was really nicely laid out. In this lesson we will import the demo theme content so that we can use a similar view for our site. This will be done through the Wordpress Importer.


This lesson we will actually change our home page over to the stunning new theme settings that we imported in the previous lesson.


In this lesson we will delete all the demo Products and Categories that was imported during the demo content import lession.


In this lesson we will look at how to customise the front page with Images, Backgrounds etc. this will make use of the page builder that is included with the Premium theme that we installed.


During the course we imported demo content from our premium theme and now we are required to clear out some of that content. Follow through in the next section to clean out the unwanted demo content.


This lesson look at some legal requirement that we as affiliate marketers have with regards to be clear to our customers that we are earning a commission from the products that we are selling. Lastly we will setup our final navigation and theme settings to complete our site.
