Course Description

You have the feeling that something has to change. You want to do more, have more, BE more but you´re not really sure how to go about it or where to start…

In all truth, it doesn´t matter what your goals are, developing self-awareness is the first step to getting you there.

The better you understand your true self and what motivates you, the easier it will be to focus your energy on defining and directing the changes that need to take place to get you where you want to go.

It’s often said, “We cannot change what we will not see.”

Self-awareness is the process of acknowledging not just your strengths, but also your weaknesses. It involves listening to your feelings as well as your body, then taking action based on what you hear.

When you are more in tune with your body, it is much easier to say “no” to that extra piece of cake, to staying up later or even working yourself until you drop. Self-awareness is a process of learning to trust in yourself. And the more you practice it, the better you will get.

Join us in this course as we discuss some key tips for beginning your journey to greater self-awareness. Learn how to:

·Reflect on who you are and who you’d like to become.

    ·Discover your true self

    ·Become aware of your motivations

    ·Better understand your personality type

    ·Push outside your comfort zone

    ·Acknowledge your negative traits

·Silence the negativity & replace it with positive self-talk

·Use self-awareness to be your best self

Self-awareness is a necessary part of self-esteem and change. If you want to grow as an individual, begin with taking a close look at a complete and honest picture of who you are now.

The better you understand yourself, the better you will be able to accept yourself as you are…and change those things you want most to change.

This is the first step on your journey to becoming the best you can be. In this course you will discover the art of developing greater self-awareness as a way to living the extraordinary life you were meant to live.

If you want to develop yourself to your fullest potential, you must master the art of developing self-awareness. On this journey of personal exploration, you will discover both positive and negative things about yourself. Some of them may even surprise you.

Uncovering your true self entails peeling away the many layers of your thoughts and beliefs until you get to your inner core.

Before you embark on this journey, understand that “wanting” to see your inner true self is essential.

The questions included in the description of each lecture will help guide you to challenging your negative thoughts & beliefs and lead you toward taking steps to change them. Spend some time at the end of each lecture thinking about each question and writing down your answers.

There is no right or wrong

…only self-discovery. Good luck.

Lecture 1: Questions

You recognize your achievements and take steps to overcome your challenges.

Of all the valuable skills you’ll acquire, learning to deal effectively with discomfort is one of the most important.

Consider all the times you’ve wanted to do something, but either never started or came up short. It’s likely that your inability to handle the resulting discomfort was the cause.

If you could handle discomfort better, you would never procrastinate, never quit a diet, exercise every day, and complete everything you ever wanted to accomplish.

Most of us avoid discomfort at all costs.

It’s the biggest limiting factor for most people. But, a little discomfort can be a good thing. Even a lot of discomfort is a good thing if you want to change your life quickly.

Lecture 7: Questions

Be sure and do the simple exercises mentioned in this lecture!

We are connected with everything in our world – in one way or another…

Set aside some time to watch this thought-provoking video:

It shares insights on how our beliefs can create our circumstances and how we can affect water with thoughts, words and music…

If you´ve downloaded your Free Guide & Workbook at and using them to follow along, you will find the information in this lecture on following pages:

Guide: pg 19-22

Section 3: Silencing Your Negative Mind

Accepting our negative traits takes courage.

Take the time to look deep inside yourself.

Recognize your negative traits “without judgment”. Allow yourself to just “be” – as you are in this moment and write down what you find…right now.

Lecture 9: Questions

Write down a recent challenge in your life…How could you put a positive spin on it and use the experience to your advantage?

Think about your strengths. Write them down…How do your strengths contribute to the happiness of others?

Think about your achievements. Can you list 10 of them? Next to each, make a note of the new things you learned as a result.

Think about your preferences & habits. Write them down. Are they serving you well? If not, what do you need to do to change them?

If you´ve downloaded your Free Guide & Workbook at and using them to follow along, you will find the information in this lecture on following pages:

Section 4: Cultivating Your Best Self

Self-awareness is a never-ending journey…

And there are many tools that can help you along the way.

For example, writing your thoughts and actions down each day is one of the best ways of learning more about yourself. Deciding on a set of core values will also help serve you well in your day-to-day life.

Read self-help books - Consider committing yourself to reading one chapter a day, every day. It´s not necessary to devour them in one sitting – taking the time to read bit by bit gives you time to put what you are learning into action.

Here are some of my favorites:

·The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

·The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

·What To Say When You Talk To Yourself by Shad Helmstetter

·The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

Which books will you read? Jot them down and get started today!

If you´ve downloaded your Free Guide & Workbook at and using them to follow along, you will find the information in this lecture on following pages:

Guide: pg 27-29

Workbook: pg 13-20

Section 5: Bonuses - Positive Pathways

Do you often have the feeling like you talk yourself out of success?

You know what I´m talking about…

As soon as you begin setting goals for yourself, that nagging little voice at the back of your mind starts whispering: you can´t do that, you are not qualified, no one want to hear what you have to say…

If this scenario sounds even the least bit familiar, it´s time you took steps to change the way you deal with your inner dialog. Stop letting that negative little voice push you down and start using positive self-talk to strike back and overcome your anxious thoughts.

Affirmations are powerful tools you can use to help you live the life you´ve always dreamed of. Discover why you should be using them and what you have to do to create some of your very own.

For more detailed information on how to use positive affirmations and positive self-talk to help you live the extraordinary life you are meant to be living, you may enjoy reading my Kindle eBook You Are What You Think. You can find it here:
