I am professional IT engineer with many certifications in the fields of Telecommunication and IT.
I am certified HP Unix, RH-Linux, Microsoft System Engineer, Checkpoint Firewalls, different IPS, Cisco Academy Instructor, Network Engineer and Data-center Engineer, VMware ICM in version 5 and 6, Certified Lego Mind-storm Coach and Scratch Programing Coach and recently Blockchain Solution Architect.
I also teach 3D modelling and animation using Blender. My Teaching skills spans well over 10 Years in this area.
My story in 3D started by accident when I was designing and setting up network for a media company client. The client were using Maya as 3D software for their projects and wanted to use network rendering to boost speed in rendering.
It was during this time my interest for 3D modelling arose when I saw the beautiful rendered work of an artist came to life in a eye catching renderings.
I initially started 3D modelling using Maya 3.0 in late 2000s. I experimented with many 3D software's like Maya, Softimage, 3D studio max and Lightwave 3D. I also experimented with Blender but the interface was very confusing and slow work flow discouraged me to use it.
Finally I settled using Maya. Maya was the industry standard for making animations and Visual Effects. The interface was also easy to use and there were many good books and video VHS tapes teaching Maya animation.
With already strong base in Maya I understood how all 3D software have same underlying techniques. Key difference is mainly the interface. After the release of Blender 2.7x few years ago and many contributing to its development fund the confidence in Blender grew exponentially and now I only do projects in Blender 2.x and 3.x.
I understand grasping concepts is unique for every students. My style of explaining things uses real world examples in the most simplest way.
