Ryokufu is a Japanese calligraphy artist and instructor who helps individuals and organizations develop focus, presence, and decisive action through Japanese calligraphy practice.

With over 30 years of experience, her work bridges traditional Japanese arts with modern performance psychology and mindfulness training. Drawing from live calligraphy performances — where every movement happens only once — she teaches practical methods to cultivate calm concentration and clarity under pressure.

After working as a Japanese language instructor in Australia and New Zealand, Ryokufu returned to Kyoto and began teaching calligraphy and Japanese cultural practices to international learners. Her unique approach combines Zen philosophy, embodied learning, and real-time creative expression.

She has performed calligraphy at cultural heritage sites, international events, educational institutions, and public ceremonies, and has contributed calligraphy works and title lettering for film projects and commissioned artworks worldwide.

In addition to her artistic activities, Ryokufu teaches calligraphy at an online school supporting students who face challenges attending traditional education, using writing as a tool for self-connection and emotional balance.

Her mission is to bring Japanese cultural wisdom into modern life — supporting leadership development, mental clarity, and meaningful human connection across cultures.

書道を通して「集中力・判断力・心の安定」を育てる活動を行う書道家・講師。書道歴30年以上。

一発勝負で書き上げる書道パフォーマンスの経験をもとに、禅的思想と身体感覚を融合させた独自のメソッドを構築し、現代社会における集中力や自己理解、意思決定力の向上をテーマに指導している。

オーストラリア・ニュージーランドで日本語教師として活動後、京都にて外国人向けに書道・日本文化指導を開始。国際イベント、文化財、教育機関などで書道パフォーマンスを行い、映画作品への出演・題字制作なども手がける。

現在は、不登校支援オンラインスクールにて書道講師を務め、文字を書く体験を通して自己と向き合う時間を提供している。

日本文化の知恵を現代の人生・ビジネス・教育に橋渡しすることを使命として活動中。
