I'm a GNU/Linux enthusiast and DevOps practitioner who loves technology and enjoys sharing what I know. I first connected to the internet back around 2000 and made the complete switch to GNU/Linux in 2005 – I've been a dedicated user ever since. My passion for tech sharing led me to start LinuxTOY in 2006, where I've written and translated over 3,000 articles. I've also translated two open-source books, Things Every Perl Programmer Should Know and Learn Git the Hard Way, and written a few of my own: Using the Command Line Like a Hacker, Embracing Next-Generation Containerization Tools: Podman, Buildah, and Skopeo, and Terraform: Automating Cloud Infrastructure Management. I've given a few public talks too. More recently, to apply my DevOps insights in a practical way, I launched the SelfhostedServer website.
