I am a retired academic librarian and have more than 35 years' of experience in the field of Academic Librarianship and Teaching Library Science. Have worked as a College Librarian, Deputy Librarian and University Librarian in my tenure. As a Deputy Librarian, I was incharge of JGMST Children's library located in SNDT Women's University's Maharshi Karve Branch  Library, Juhu. I have designed various courses for Library staff and executed a Certificate course on 'School and Children's Librariandhip' for SHPT School of Library Science and have offered consultancy to set up and improve libraries. I have guided Ph.D students and have contributed articles to various peer-reviewed journals. I had opportunities to organize seminars and workshops on College Librarianship, Academic Libraries in electronic era, Research in Library Science and Library Ergonomics. I have visited Spain and Malaysia to present paper in IFLA International Conference. I have also authored and edited four books in Marathi and also contributed a regular fortnightly column on Cookbooks in Lokasatta, Marathi Daily in 2017.
