At the tender age of 4 years old, Susan, who also likes to be called by her nickname Wamu, began learning how to play piano. She is a passionate and dedicated piano teacher who has experience helping students of all ages and skill levels discover the joy of music. She was classically trained at a young age and continued her training while acquiring her BA at Wake Forest University. Not only does she know how to play classical music, she does enjoy playing a variety of music which includes jazz and contemporary compositions. Susan believes in fostering a positive and supportive environment, where every student feels empowered to reach their musical goals. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, Susan tailors lessons to each individual's needs, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable learning experience.
