The journey of being artist was not planned but it was a long pending wish waiting for the right time. I started with pens and colors almost 2 years back. I am self taught mandala artist.
The idea behind choosing mandala lies into my love for pens and articulations. I enjoy playing with pens and the last few pages of my any book is full of various natural objects like trees, flowers, leaves and so on. I wanted to have a career as an artist as I have tried many forms of art but when I encountered with Mandala, It became my heart and soul.
I have kept on practicing mandala every day and day by day I have improved, tried many techniques, made new designs, experimented with colors and finally have reached to a level where I want to be recognized as an Mandala artist.
The only way for perfection in Mandala is practice, practice and practice with patience and perseverance. I give at least 2 to 3 hours of my day in practice and so far in this 2 years I have made more than 100 Mandala in size of 1 feet to 3 feet diameter.
Mandala has not only helped me in my professional life but has calmed my thoughts and helped me managing my feelings of anger and stress. I am a full time consultant to a non profit and a mother of a cute baby boy.
