I am an economist interested in new growth theories, green growth, sustainable development, energy and environmental economics. Currently, i am serving as assistant professor and the head of Innovation and Technology Management department at the THK University. Along with my teaching and research activities at the university, i have been involved in different projects, including energy management standardization project at UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization ) and EBRD’s (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) projects on renewable energy potential in Turkey. Beside my scientific activities, with an aim to transfer my knowledges from theory to practice, i have established TEC Energy company in Slovakia and led some projects relating energy technologies and investments between 2009 and 2013.

When it comes to my educational background, I have obtained my graduate and undergraduate degrees from Vienna University of Economics and doctoral degree from Vienna University of Technology in Social and Economic Sciences. In my spare time, i like to fly our self-made kite with my childs, Sude and Ahmet Kağan. We also very much like to go hiking in the towns and mountains of Gerede, Güdül, Kızılcaham, Ayaş and Beypazarı.
