Seun serves as Executive Director of Leading Like a Lady Blog (LLAL). LLAL is a not-for-profit media company and creator of Writeful Justice, a K-12 curriculum for young aspiring journalists and authors. Before that, she worked with Japan's External Trade Organization (JETRO) to perform due diligence interviews and online research to find funding for tech startups within Western, Eastern, and Southern Africa. Seun was a speaker for TEDx, Columbia Business School, Boston College, and Startup Week San Diego. She earned a B.A. in Communications and Creative Writing from Fordham University, then completed a master’s degree in International Management (magna cum laude) at SOAS, University of London. She completed coursework in Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and is a former English Language Arts middle school teacher. She was awarded as a 2019 Women of Inspiration honoree by the Corporate Counsel Women of Color for her work addressing the gender pay and investment capital gap experienced by Black/African women entrepreneurs.
