I’m Dr. Swaminathan, Founder and CEO of Silicic Innova Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and the Silicon Craft VLSI Training & Research Institute. With a strong foundation in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and Digital Design, I bring over 15 years of combined industry and research experience to my teaching.

I hold a Ph.D. in VLSI Design from NIT Trichy, where I specialized in Network-on-Chip (NoC)-based interconnect systems. Throughout my career, I’ve worked as an FPGA and ASIC Design Engineer in India and abroad, including roles at Sasken Technologies (Bangalore) and Campton Co. Ltd. (South Korea). I’ve also led high-performance hardware teams in developing advanced PCIe NVMe SSDs and AI-based hardware accelerators.

I’m passionate about creating practical, hands-on learning experiences that connect core engineering principles with cutting-edge applications in SoC/NoC design, FPGA-based system development, and AI hardware. My teaching is grounded in real-world challenges and shaped by the work I’ve done in healthcare innovation, neuromorphic computing, and low-cost embedded systems.
