About me
Richard has several years of experience in scientist, chief architect, computer and software engineering, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and principal systems engineering. He has designed and led the development of secure, enterprise systems supporting critical government and commercial missions, including U.S. Air Force and Space Force platforms.
Richard holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, and multiple cloud certifications, including AWS. He is also a published Ph.D. candidate in Intelligent Systems Engineering, where his research focuses on combining Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graphs, and Ontologies to engineer next-generation intelligent systems.
As an instructor, Richard is passionate about making complex technical topics approachable, practical, and relevant to real-world applications. His teaching style blends industry experience with hands-on demonstrations, helping students understand not only how technologies work, but also why they matter. His goal is to help learners build confidence, develop in-demand technical skills, and accelerate their careers in cloud computing, AI, and modern software engineering.
