I actually have an aeronautical engineering degree. Slowly my career evolved to Program Management. While I chose that as my main career to focus on, on the side I learned the art of knitting and Indian cooking from my grand-mother.
I have been knitting for most of my life. I enjoy knitting hats and infant clothing (hats, sweaters, booties, socks, dresses, onesies, etc). I have taught knitting as personal growth course in community colleges and I have my own knitting YouTube channel. I try to add a bit of the Indian culture into my knitting.
I started experimenting with cooking while I lived on my own because I didn't want to cook the vegetables the same way every time. After marriage and especially kids, I had to become more creative. I was also able to add some Rajasthani (my husband is from there) and Gujrati (few of my friends are) flavors into my dishes.
I hope these classes provide some inspiration to try something new and have fun learning something new.
