Pavle Vučković is an award-winning film director and screenwriter from Belgrade, Serbia, with over 15 years of professional experience in filmmaking. His short films Run Rabbit Run (2003) and Minus (2007) were both awarded at the Cannes Film Festival, with Run Rabbit Run later entering the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and Tate Modern in London.
His debut feature film Panama premiered in the Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and went on to international distribution in markets such as Germany, the UK, Japan, South Korea, and Ukraine. The script for his feature film FROST was selected as one of 20 international projects for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival development market - L' Atelier in 2021.
Since 2003, Pavle has worked across various formats — including feature films, TV series, animation, commercials, and music videos — developing a broad and deep understanding of both the creative and practical sides of filmmaking. His teaching is rooted in real-world experience, and his passion lies in helping emerging filmmakers discover and shape their unique cinematic voice.
