Nikie Forster is a Learning and Development professional with nearly 30 years’ experience designing creative, confidence‑building learning for trainers, managers, educators, and facilitators. She is the founder of Curious Lighthouse Learning Consultancy, established in 2016, where she helps organisations strengthen people skills through engaging, psychologically safe, and highly practical development programmes.
Her early career in radio, interior design, and DIY retail unexpectedly shaped her facilitation style, giving her a deep understanding of people, communication, and hands‑on learning. Over the years she has gained multiple professional qualifications and delivered training across the public sector, private sector, charities, and NHS Trusts.
Nikie is known for her creative learning methods, especially her work with LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP), which she uses to spark meaningful conversations, unlock insight, and increase retention of learning. She specialises in helping facilitators and trainers build confidence in using playful, visual, and metaphor‑based techniques that make learning memorable and immediately transferable back into the workplace.
Nikie is also known for her LEGO® Serious Play® One-day Workshop, designed for experienced trainers, facilitators, educators and coaches, and is passionate about acknowledging that a certification is NOT essential for being able to use the LSP method,
Based near the south coast of England, Nikie works with organisations of all sizes and is passionate about making learning accessible, enjoyable, and rooted in real‑world application. Her consultancy is built on lived values: curiosity, clarity, creativity, integrity, and genuine human connection.
