Dr. Narayane Ramkumar is a qualified Periodontist and educator with over 4 years of academic and clinical experience. She currently serves as a Reader in the Department of Periodontology at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences.

She holds a Master's degree (MDS) in Periodontology and is a certified implantologist with fellowships from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA) and the Branemark Osseointegration Centre (Sweden). Her passion lies in interdisciplinary research, especially at the intersection of oral and systemic health.

She has received national and international awards, authored research publications, and guided undergraduate and postgraduate projects in periodontal medicine. Her current focus includes the impact of systemic conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) on oral health, oral microbiome research, and preventive care strategies.

Through her courses, she aims to bridge the gap between dentistry and medicine by promoting a holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care.
