Michael Perlmutter studied Business-Economics with an emphasis in accounting at UC Santa Barbara. After college he went to work in investments getting his series 7, 66 and then the highly prestigious CFA designation. This allowed Wells Fargo to trust Michael to manage over $700 million as an investment manager at a very young age.

Michael’s passion for investments conflicted with the corporate nature of Wells Fargo so he left to start his first business with a massage therapist he knew well. This massage therapist was soon making much more than he was making at Wells Fargo because of marketing strategies that he brought on. Her business went from making very little to growing fast.

Around that time, he discovered that his mother was scammed out of all her money so he decided to help her with her business. Soon after helping his mother, her business exploded and at this point Michael knew he was on to something.

Many small business owners did not have the expertise nor the budget to market themselves. Getting clients is a crucial step in building a business. Without marketing, you can be the greatest massage nobody has ever heard of. Without clients, well.. you don’t have a business!

Michael went about solving this issue by launching Risk Free Marketing®. A true pay for performance marketing where the business owners did not have to pay unless they received a paying client.
