Mia Slayford aka Pigtails is a creative brain, pop artist, singer, songwriter, dancer and fully confessed sensitive from Australia and has built an extraordinary career as a pop recording artist, performer, and teacher, appearing on stages across Australia, the U.K., Sweden, Amsterdam, Italy, and the U.S.A. Her single “I Won’t Cry” was featured on hit Australian TV series "House Husbands" and won Best Song at the Voice On Music Festival in Rome, Italy. She also made history as the first Australian to appear on Italy’s hit TV show Amici.
Mia’s work spans music, television, and live theatre. She wrote and performed her new original show Planet Pop at Downstairs at The Maj for Fringe World Perth, earning acclaim for its high-energy blend of pop spectacle and cabaret flair.
