For my entire professional career I have been developing software, more than twenty-five years now.  But one of the things I have enjoyed during that time is working with other people and mentoring them on how to be more successful at it.

Just over five years ago I decided to move from working for a company as a consultant to becoming a freelance software developer.  I have had more than a few hard lessons in that time.  I also found a lot of success on Upwork and really recommend it as a tool for anyone looking for new clients.
