Manami gained her bachelor's and master's degree at International Christian University in Japan. During her university time, she taught English to elementary to high school students.

Coming to New York in 2017, she completed her second master's program in Performing Arts Administration at New York University. While she was studying at NYU, she started teaching English privately targeting both adults and children. She has developed her own teaching method to support especially people who live in a foreign country.
