Adobe Instructor & Designer
Who am I?
If you're trying to guess where I am from through my accent- good luck!
The accent is a mashup of 4 different languages I speak fluently.
My name is Kate and I am Belgian-born and raised but Londoner by heart.
Designer of All things
Adobe Instructor, Graphic Designer, Fashion Designer, Footwear Designer - these are some of the diverse job titles I've held throughout my career as designer of all things. Because when you are a designer - you are never just that.
What is my education?
I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Cordwainers London College of Fashion - Think of your favourite shoe brands/designers, yup they all attended this University too.
Where do you teach Adobe?
I've been working at the UK's leading Adobe Training Centre in London for over 3 years. I teach small intimate groups up to 8 people. I have done a lot of training and consulting work with clients including Sony Music, Marks & Spencers and Nespresso.
I teach a myriad of courses including Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop. Stay tuned for more courses.
Where did I learn my Adobe & Design skills?
Some are self- taught, and most are a result of work experience in various Luxury Fashion Brands including Jimmy Choo, Sophia Webster & Nicholas Kirkwood.
What is your teaching style?
I believe that the best way to learn a software is through PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. My courses are a very hands-on step by step approach. I help you crawl before you can run. I love creating cool exercises to help you attune your skills. Adobe is like any language (except it is visual) that needs to be nurtured and used and what better way than an Adobe Workshop?
