I’ve taught in adult education for 28 years – and I absolutely love it!
I'm based in York, England, and my courses cover British, European, and world history and art history, from ancient to modern.
I began my professional life as a medieval historian. I still maintain my passion for things medieval, but have relished the opportunity which adult education - and more specifically, the enthusiasm and requests of students with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working - has offered to broaden my interests and expertise.
Until recently, most of my courses were with the Workers’ Education Association, but since 2021, my freelance online courses - 103 of them so far! - have been as Wright History.
I have an ever-growing archive of recorded lectures, which I would love to share with the Udemy community. All recordings are of live lectures, and are simply edited to remove images and details of those students who attended at point of broadcast.
