Jetmir Troshani is the Training Coordinator for IT at LaGuardia Community College. He is skilled in software applications, new media, web tools, social networking, Computer Maintenance and troubleshooting of both Mac and Pc’s.
In 2006 Jetmir Troshani received his AAS in New Media Technology from LaGuardia Community College. A year later, in 2007, he received his BS in New Media Technology from the New York City College of Technology, Brooklyn. Jetmir recently completed his Masters of Public Administration, concentration on Management and Operation at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
In 2006, Jetmir began an internship at the Computer Information Systems department at LaGuardia Community College. He then received a position at LaGuardia as a Workshop Instructor/College Assistant where he was in charge of teaching workshops on Software Applications to faculty, Staff and Students as well as providing technical support. Jetmir was then assigned the duty of IT Assistant Level II/ Training Coordinator. He was now in charge of managing the training records of the entire department, designing course materials and other documents such as handouts, manuals and exercises as well as teaching workshops for faculty and students.
Jetmir is currently the IT Associate / Training Coordinator for IT at LaGuardia Community College. He is in charge of offering over 50 different training workshops for Students, Faculty and Staff as well as coordinating training for ISMD's Departmental Staff. He is Involved in 31 projects, such as Blackboard, PaperCut (Print Management System), Web Attendance (Grading System), iTunes U, Ektron CMS400 (College Website Builder) and POLYCOM. He also communicates regularly with the Director of the department to identify training needs and align training using the right strategies.
Aside from Training Coordinator, Jetmir teaches at LaGuardia Community College as an Adjunct Lecturer for the Business Technology and the Humanities Departments. His courses include Intro to Computers, Web Design and Web Animation.
