Hassan Boulaghrasse has drawn upon his 28 years of experience teaching Arabic to both, Arabic and non-Arabic speakers alongside his academic achievements to develop his Arabic Learning and Acquisition System Grasp Arabic. He is passionately committed to helping his students to both, learn the Arabic reading and writing system and acquire this language in a natural and easy way, just like when they acquired their mother tongue.

GA is based on practical, realistic and effective methods of Learning and acquiring the Arabic language.

With GA you learn how to read, write, speak and apply grammar correctly.

As part of his MA degree, the author studied the work of the American linguist Stephen Krashen, who demonstrates that a second language is acquired subconsciously. Hassan is a big fan of his work and it has heavily influenced him when developing the GA system.

Hassan is currently running Arabic courses in London applying his system Grasp Arabic. In his spare time, he is an avid reader of religion, literature, history, philosophy, psychology and family therapy. He also writes books and poetry and blends aromatic Moroccan tea.
