Professor Dr.Hasanain received his bachelor’s in medicine and surgery (MBChB) from the University of Baghdad in 2006. He subsequently did his master's and Ph.D. in Community Health at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He was a Ph.D. Fellow at United Nations University/International Institute for Global Health (2012), senior lecturer at the Department of Community Health, National University of Malaysia (UKM) (2013-2015). He was an Associate Professor at the International medical school, Management and science university, Malaysia (2016-202).  He has more than 15 years of experience in research and publication in international journals. He had more than 130 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and with 81 Full papers in the SCOPUS database and an H index (21. Currently, he is the Editor in Chief of the Global Journal of Public Health Medicine (GJPHM) and academic editor of BMC Public Health & PLOS Global Public Health Journals.
