Erwin Tembo

I am a Clergy person with an aim of applying my pastoral functions in communities, to promote faith and health, in order to improve people’s well-being.  My work experience has created opportunities to attain experience in humanitarian and development activities in rural communities.

This work experience has created an opportunity for me to reflect on the interaction between religion and health. For me, religion is one’s way of life and in turn influences personal and community behaviour, which enhances well-being. Religion in this case, is seen to be central in managing health and a driver for community well-being.
