Adopted at birth by an affluent white family, in Asheville Nc. Life was great until I was 10 when my family went to the cayman islands for Christmas vacation, on vacation my parents where in a car accident. My father died and my mother was placed in intensive care. Ten months later she died from complications.

When I was 12, my sister and I moved to California to be closer to my moms family. I was sent to boarding school for middle school. For high school i was shipped from program to program (Aspen, Cascade, cedu Accent and Positive impact) but was able to graduate in only 2 ½ years. Was accepted to the University of Seton Hall, but the University of the Hard Headed was more appealing. :)

When I was 22, I found my biological family, and moved back to North Carolina. This was a difficult time the shock of meeting my biological family was intense, which caused me to turn to alcohol. I wrote a couple books but it was a dark time for me, my life style caused me to obtain 2 dui’s in North Carolina, landing me in jail for 30 days. Then one of my sisters insisted i move to Boston.

While in Boston, my brother-in-law and I made a deal, I would go to Harvard if he showed me how. So Began my quest to learn everything there was to know about economics, money, and accounting. I did not go to Harvard the traditional way, I had no intention of graduating, my only intention was to learn, and learn I did. Trust me there is a reason why Harvard is the best. They make you study, study, study and then study some more.

Through Harvard i had the opportunity to go to Ghana for a summer program, while in Africa my professor and I would have extensive talks about the economy, history, religion. You name it, we talked about it. One major topic we discussed (it was a trans-atlantic slavery class) was the connection or rather disconnection between Black Americans and Africans. In addition how this disconnection had a tremendous economic effect on both societies. My argument was; The top down approach does not work, the only people discussing this issue is intellectuals, intellectuals that have absolutely no understanding of the “non-intellectuals” casing the reason for stagnation.

Over the past 5 years i moved back south to solve this and many other problems I have encountered in my life. All my research leads to the same answer, “ To save a nation you must start with education” . This year I opened a bookstore as of this writing I have over 4k different books on amazon and adding books everyday. This solves part of the problem, the other part is taking an active approach. thanks to Harvard i know how to study, study, study now i am going to teach, teach, teach. Thanks for your time and enjoy
