Rev Em, also known as Mamabear, is a writer and educator working through the Creative Rootz project. Her work explores how we design a life worth living through relationship with land, daily life, and lived experience.

Rooted in an off-grid, low-impact way of living, Creative Rootz brings together writing, teaching, and practical approaches to life that prioritise simplicity, sustainability, and real capacity. The work grows from what is lived, tested, and returned to over time.

Rev Em’s approach is experiential rather than prescriptive. She shares what has been learned through practice, reflection, and long-term commitment to living gently and intentionally. Resources are designed to be taken slowly, revisited, and adapted to real life.
