Elena is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and an MBA-qualified senior engineering executive with 19+ years of experience in asset management, reliability, maintenance optimisation, digital transformation, and data analytics across aviation and maritime transport.

She has spent her career working with complex, safety-critical assets, leading technical teams, and driving the shift from traditional maintenance practices toward data-driven, evidence-based asset management. She knows what works in practice, where organisations get stuck, and how to make reliability engineering both accessible and impactful.

Throughout her career Elena has built reliability functions from the ground up, mentored junior engineers, and helped organisations modernise their approach to asset performance. She created this course to share the practical knowledge she has gathered across nearly two decades in the field — the kind that doesn't fit neatly into a textbook.
