Eamonn O’Brien has taught Middle and High School English and History for more than 15 years at independent schools across the United States. He has taught the classical canon including Homer, Dante, Milton, Chaucer and Shakespeare, to contemporary authors such as Kazuo Ishiguro, Alexie Sherman, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. His speciality is helping readers understand the historical context in which a story is set and then helping them analyze the complexity of the human condition and relationships as they play out through the story.
