Dr. Biswajit Mahanty received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Burdwan University, West Bengal, India, and a Master’s degree in Electronic Science from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. He subsequently earned his Master of Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Kolkata, India. He completed his Ph.D. in the field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India.
He carried out three years of postdoctoral research at the MEMS and Nanotechnology Laboratory, School of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University, Republic of Korea.
Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at SR University, Warangal, Telangana, India. His research interests include the design and development of piezoelectric, triboelectric, pyroelectric, and tribovoltaic nanogenerators; self-powered flexible sensors; supercapacitors; and wireless energy transfer systems.
