I’m David Sammons, a web developer with over 30 years of hands-on experience building websites and web applications. Throughout my career I’ve worked across the full spectrum of front-end development, with a strong focus on clean, semantic, and accessible HTML as the foundation of every solid web project.
For more than 10 years I’ve also served as a professional faculty instructor, teaching web development courses at the university level. In that role I’ve guided hundreds of students through the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, helping beginners gain the practical skills and confidence they need to build real projects.
My teaching approach is straightforward and hands-on: clear explanations, live coding, and practical exercises that reinforce what you learn. I created the Practical HTML course to give newcomers a structured, no-fluff path from absolute beginner to creating clean, well-structured web pages.
I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over three decades in the field and more than a decade in the classroom so you can build a strong foundation in HTML and move forward in your web development journey.
