Erica has a Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language (ASL) from Gallaudet University and a Master's in Bilingual Education, ASL and English, from the University of California, San Diego. 

  Erica has taught ASL courses in various educational settings such as middle school, high school, community colleges, and universities. 

  She not only grew up with her Deaf parents and grandparents but also in an ASL-rich environment at Deaf schools. 

     Erica's ASL Literature work, such as "Through the Hands" and "The Great Horned Owl," is on this website, aslized. I am also one of the ASL Dictionary signers, spreadthesign.
