I’ve spent over two decades studying and performing traditional acoustic blues, from the Delta to West Africa. I’ve toured and recorded internationally with legends such as Bobby Rush, RL Burnside, Honeyboy Edwards, BB King, and Ali Farka Touré, and I’ve taught workshops to hundreds of students worldwide.
My goal is to pass on the fingerstyle techniques, song forms, and rhythmic feels that keep this music alive — all grounded in real tradition and real playing.
