Clare Follmann is a grants coordinator, writer and editor located in the moist PNW.
A lifelong writer, she has published articles and prose in Oak Journal, Innersleeve, and Elderly Mag, and was the artist-in-residence at Sou’Wester in the spring of 2020. She has also edited several publications, from memoirs to class curricula to plant guides.
Clare has been writing grants ever since the great COVID pandemic of 2020, first to save her bookstore from going under, and then to support a local agriculture-based non-profit in her town. Today, she secures over $600k from 20-30 grants each year (and counting!) for this non-profit and is eager to share what she has learned to help turn everyone into their own grant writer!
