Cheryl Whitten is a Clinical Aromatherapist, herbalist, and professional writer. She graduated Athabasca University with a Bachelor of Arts With Distinction in English Literature and studied aromatherapy with Essence of Thyme College of Holistic Studies. She also studied herbalist at the Master level with Wild Rose College and functional medicine approach to hypothyroidism with Maryland University of Integrative Health. She conducted research on stress reduction and aromatherapy and presented the research at the Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta conference.
Cheryl writes for leading medical and health and wellness websites and her work and research has appeared in the International Journal of Professional Holistic Aromatherapy. She has been in the industry for almost 20 years and has studied with some of the world’s renowned botanists and aromatherapy experts. Cheryl is known for breaking down aromatherapy myth with evidence-based approaches.
