Bruno Vannieu has been teaching French at the university level in Japan for over 25 years, including eleven years at Kobe University, where he received the Best Teacher Award six times.
His research centers on intercultural communication and foreign language pedagogy. He is actively engaged in the training of foreign language teachers and has co-authored numerous textbooks for learners of French and English. He also runs Alma Publishing, an independent publishing house based in Kyoto, which specializes in developing textbooks tailored to the Japanese educational context.
