Ashok Patil has a master's degree in Computer Science from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois. In the last 30 years, he has worked as a senior software developer and development lead at fortune 500 companies such as Motorola, and City National Bank.  During these years, he has built enterprise-level software systems and utilized both traditional software development methodologies such as Waterfall, and modern software development methodologies such as Agile.  He has also built enterprise-level applications along with CICD pipelines on the azure cloud using Azure functions, and event hubs, and possesses Azure cloud certifications.

He has also been teaching both on-campus and online Computer Science classes using languages such as python, C++, Java, and data structures for 10s of thousands of students at Los Angeles College district for the last 20 years.

Many of his students have gone on to prestigious universities like the University of California, Berkeley, the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California Los Angeles, to name a few.
