Gábor Vajta is Adjunct Professor at Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, Australia and Honorary Professor of BGI Shenzhen, China. He lives in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, spends half of his time in China and other Asian, European and American countries. He is director of a consulting company providing services in human and domestic animal embryology all over the world. He is author of more than 160 publications (books, book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals, with approx. 8,500 citations). Main topics of his research include cryopreservation of embryos and oocytes , cloning by somatic cell nuclear transfer, and various aspects of mammalian embryo culture.
